This is the division that handles the outdoor landscaping of your home. This includes deck design and construction from concept to conclusion. We can produce drawings in order to obtain permits if desired. Our scope of services ranges from new decks built from the ground up to rebuilds, additions, and repair. We offer redwood finish but also specialize in the new composite materials. We also handle the revitalization of existing wood decks with sanding, cleaning, and staining. Additional services include fences, benches, arbors, firepits, built-in barbecues, pizza ovens, gazebos, pavers, and stonework.
Owner Steve Rodhouse, born London 1966 and moved to the United States in 1991.
7 years in San Jose was enough before a move to the coast and the beautiful Aptos, Santa Cruz. Only 2 years in Aptos before the opportunity to become a part owner of the Britannia Arms in downtown Monterey was too good to miss. He moved to Monterey in 1999 to help open the restaurant and quickly picked up the building contracting bug here on the peninsula where a move towards deck restoration and construction ensued, adding the Co name, Dexperts. Further development of the company encompassed residential home remodels, mostly kitchens and bathrooms, and another name change To G.B. Builders dba Dexperts/GB painting all under the same lic #722199. Steve now operates as a corporation under the name Rodhouse Construction.
